| Summary: | BAIINFO-China, Domestic GPC prices went down overall in Oct. Anode material plants slowed procurement of feedstocks. Prebaked anode plants only stockpiled GPC on a need-to basis amid increasing losses. Aluminum-used carbon industry ran gloomy, especially for CPC market. Hence, there was no effective support for GPC market. Compared to the end of Sept., Sinopec refineries adjusted prices by RMB 20-160/T. CNPC/PetroChina and CNOOC refineries mostly lessened prices by RMB 100-300/T. |
